Poetry regarding Wilmot and Trevor by Raymond Stoxen who lived in Wilmot on
Cty CF, west of Cty W on the north side. Ray told me that generally his poems took him 45 minutes to write. Often he would wake up, go to the computer and type them out. He'd print them and they'd debut at Linda's Wilmot Cafe, his daily location for meals at least once a day. There are other booklets of his work. Regarding specifically the "HISTORY OF WILMOT" - I sat with Ray and videotaped his comments about some of the areas noted in the poems that I did not understand and which needed clarity to those who did not grow up here. He was remarkable. Ray is buried at Wilmot Cemetery.
