The materials are from DJF collection. Dave Jon Frederick. The materials compliment the other artifacts that the Frederick family has given to the Western Kenosha County Historical Society (WKCHS) There are other images in the digital collection. Artifacts are at the WKCHS and include photograph albums of the family and artwork by Alvin Frederick. The Frederick family farm was in Somers/Paris at the west side of 1-94. Alvin worked at Mill Print out of Milwaukee where he commuted via the Northshore Line and was also at Serigraph Sales in West Bend. He attended the Art Institute via Northern Illinois before the war and had a Mr Sterba, Mrs Kibler and Mr Mosby as instructors. He created a LIFE IN THE ARMY art booklet while he was in Iceland and there are Iceland views in art form in the collective. The Bristol Band is represented in image and in uniform although the trumpet was given to the Kenosha Youth Foundation by Dave's brother, Karl Frederick. Other names are: Lucille, Rose, Alvin, Carol, Elaine, Harold, Eugene and Matthew.
