657 - Wheatland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery Annual Meetings 1928-1984The original documents were copied to create this PDF. This material is from the Barb Reynolds (BER) and Ethlyn Reynolds (EDR) collection. German Presbyterian Church aka Wheatland Presbyterian Church. The church building originally faced to the North and had a bell tower (SOS660). It has since been moved to the East and repositioned to face South. There are images of the building features in the digital archives as well as images of the cemetery. It has since been sided and is used for storage. The congregation is, for the most part, now attached to the Cavalry Church in Twin Lakes. The cemetery is still an active enterprise. There are several booklets pertaining to this entity. Church building transferred to the Cemetery Association June 8 1950 pg 71.Discussion on the sale of the building to the Calvary Congregation in Twin Lakes, pg 76, March 23, 1952 considered but June, 1952, that failed; discussion centered around tearing it down at June 1952 meeting and again in 1953, and again in 1954 , 1955 and in 1956 a committee created for disposal. 1957 had actual advertising for sale of the building, 1958 $400 for the building and $2,000 for the land would be reasonable, 1960 Beineman makes the purchase to move building and to build a home on the parcel. By 1961 the building was still not moved and discussion regarding the steeple occurred at the annual meeting. No further discussion or financial activity on the building after this entry. Large stone discussed regarding history in 1964and one donated by Miss Mary Memler of Peoria IL and Boulder which had been there in 1959. Stella A Karcher dies 1966. 647 - HOSMER CEMETERY RECORDSas of 07 27 2014 from Sexton Robert Milligan. Hosmer Cemetery is on Hwy 45 in Village of Bristol, Kenosha County, Wisconsin. At one time there was a church at the western end of the cemetery. For reference and citation purposes, please use lot numbers. It is also referred to as the United Cemetery Association. The information herein is also intended to be used on FindAGrave which has a photo of the stones.

484 SIA CCLRD Stabilization Project 2001-2005This was a project that was supported by the CCLRD when Dave Giza was in charge. The SIA performed work at the shoreline and contributed $2300 to the project. The CCLRD paid and the WIDNR grant paid the balance. In the end, the project failed to stabilize and for the full length of the 1200 ft shoreline, roughly 3 ft has ben lost and south of the 108th firelane area, between 12 and 15ft has been lost.
