    A handwritten journal relating everyday happenings in Salem Township. This is a small but excellent accounting of a year in the life of a farm in the township. It includes short commentary, a chart of expenses and receipts, and a daily accounting of eggs collected as a cash crop. See Also Fennama Material in this Collection.     This is a personal family photo album of images from the mid 1950s. The barn that existed on the southerly side of the house, was taken down during this time and the house was burned in April 2015 as part of a practice burn with Town of Wheatland, Town of Burlington, Town of Salem Fire Rescue, Village of Twin Lakes, Town of Randall.

  • 323A Sabin Store Ledger Wilmot 1873-1875
    The store is presumed to be at the location of the Kruckman Store which existed at the 2014 Fox River Spirits location This book is handwritten in pencil by an unknown person but presumably a Sabin or employee. The document was written in fountain ink and is clear but is very faint and hard to read.

    Booklet from the FWB collection that was once owned by Helen Brown-Bushing of Salem WI published by Procter and Gamble Company by Mary Beals Vail in 1906 Cincinnati Ohio. In the ending pages, there are notes presumably by Helen in pencil. The book is in the archives of the Western Kenosha County Historical Society.

    This document includes scans of certificates for the cows/bulls that were on the lranna Stock Farm (On SA immediately west of STH 83) between 1935 and 1971. There are a few unidentified photos at the back of the booklet. These were taken by Ken Brown as noted in 1954 or if undated, in 1958. Several of the animals at this farm won blue ribbons at Kenosha County Fair, Lake County Fair and Racine County Fairs.
